How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect strictly for the following purposes:

  • Loan Processing: To evaluate your gold loan application, complete KYC verification, and disburse your scheme.
  • Account Management: To create and manage your New Life Digi Gold account, authenticate your identity on login, and send account-related communications.
  • EMI & Payment Processing: To set up your NACH mandate, process monthly EMI collections, and send payment reminders and receipts.
  • Gold Delivery Coordination: To schedule gold collection or delivery, confirm your address, and track fulfilment.
  • Customer Support: To respond to queries, resolve complaints, and assist with foreclosure or cancellation requests.
  • Legal & Regulatory Compliance: To meet RBI reporting obligations, credit bureau reporting, and applicable tax or AML (Anti-Money Laundering) requirements.
  • Service Improvement: To analyse usage patterns, improve our app and processes, and develop new features — using anonymised and aggregated data only.
We do not use your personal information for unsolicited marketing to third parties, nor do we sell your data to any external parties.

Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Credit Bureaus: Loan account information and repayment history is reported to CIBIL and other RBI-approved credit information companies as required by law.
  • Payment Partners: Bank account details and mandate information are shared with your bank and NPCI/NACH for EMI collection.
  • KYC & Identity Verification: Aadhaar-based eKYC is processed via UIDAI-authorised authentication service agencies (ASAs) under applicable law.
  • Gold Logistics Partners: Name, address, and contact number are shared with our delivery partner solely for gold dispatch and delivery coordination.
  • Regulatory Authorities: We may disclose your information to the RBI, SEBI, Income Tax authorities, or law enforcement as required by applicable law or court order.
  • Service Providers: We use trusted third-party providers for cloud hosting, SMS/email notifications, and analytics. These providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and cannot use your data for their own purposes.

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of New Life Digi Gold, your data may be transferred to the acquiring entity. You will be notified of any such change.
